AstroLune is intended as a general-purpose network for people, developers and organisations. Its first working use case should not limit the future architecture to one industry. The Rust reference network currently supports signed native payments and finality with a fixed BFT committee. Full PoTB, committee rotation and contract execution remain unfinished.
Start with verifiable value
For an individual, the first step is a clear test payment and a way to inspect its confirmation. Developers need documentation, a reproducible local node and a predictable API. An organisation needs to test one specific settlement or reconciliation workflow in a controlled pilot.
The question for each group is whether they can repeat the workflow themselves and understand its limits. Follower counts and generated transaction totals cannot answer it.
A community that tests the work
We invite early participants to test a payment, connect a small application or run an independent test node. A useful result is a working example, a reproducible bug report or a fix. A local network or test environment is enough; real funds are not needed.
Before a pilot, record the problem, expected result, network version, hardware configuration and verification steps. Publish failures and unfinished features alongside successes. That makes feedback useful for improving the protocol.
The path to market
We see AstroLune as a shared foundation for different products, not a network for a single niche. Its proposed distinction is public evidence of operator behaviour paired with an understandable experience for users and developers. That is a hypothesis to test through independent trials and interviews, not proven demand.
The next milestones are external technical pilots, comparable measurements, safe activation of PoTB, operational readiness and independent security review. Funding and potential listings cannot substitute for this work, and neither is presented as already secured.
The implementation status describes current capabilities and limits. If you want to help test one of these scenarios, see the participation areas.
