The Rust node now exposes retained finalized blocks through a bounded block RPC method. Explorer displays block headers, native payment transactions, and account state from that node.
The gateway accepts only read requests and limits response size, time and concurrent upstream calls. Its data is still the connected node's report; independent light-client verification and global transaction indexes are future work.
